Evernote Help Wanted

Evernote is a software technology with a fervent following.  Adopters love it.  Here is where I need help.  What is so great about this program?  In particular, why is it great for lawyers?  I have Outllook which manages my email just fine.  I have AbacusLaw to manage my calendar, my to dos, and my case management.  What else could I possibly need?  And if there is something else that I need, how can Evernote deliver it to me in a superior way?

I am not saying Evernote is not great.  It very well could be, I just don't know how.  Hey ABA, how about a Evernote In One Hour For Lawyers book . . .

If you are an Evernote lover educate me.  Leaves your comments and tips!

John, you don't understand the value of Evernote. I use it everyday for counsultation notes, settlement conferences, hearings, trials. It is organized by notebooks. It is cross platform and you can add photos and scans to each individual note (court reporter business cards). After a hearing I can send my note to my client and staff with instructions. It is one of my top 5 apps

David, thanks for the comment! Exactly the kind of insight I am looking for. Would love to read how other lawyers are using it!

John, I've used Evernote in several different ways over the years, and I'm a fan of theirs. I'll be glad to share my thoughts with you sometime if you'd like. Ben
